Sunset Strip
Half Marathon & 5K
2015
More than a race, it was a high-energy tribute to the legends of rock. Runners followed in the footsteps of icons like The Doors, Guns N’ Roses, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, tracing the very streets where music history was made.
The course wound through the heart of West Hollywood, past iconic venues like Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room, and The Roxy. Live bands and cheering supporters lined the route, turning the race into a moving celebration of rock culture. From palm trees to giant billboards, the Strip’s signature scenery added to the thrill.
I developed the core visuals and messaging, channeling its raw energy into a bold, anthemic identity. We positioned the race as both a physical challenge and a cultural experience. A Rock n’ Roll Finish Line Festival capped off the event, staying true to the rebellious spirit of the area.
Part race, part pilgrimage—an unforgettable way to Run the Course of Rock History.
